Bridal shop sued Channel Seven and customer of the shop over story on Real Life. Imputations that plaintiff treated a customer callously and almost ruined her wedding, consistently treated customers poorly and did ruin their wedding days, ignored reasonable requests of customers, unreasonably refused to refund the cost of a wedding dress, was a disreputable retailer who sold sub-standard dresses, supplied one customer with a dress which had been rented out despite being on layby and was reasonably suspected of doing this on other occasions. … more
