Series of three pamphlets opposing the election of Sam Bass in SA state elections. (1st) Imputations that the plaintiff had embarked on a holiday at taxpayers expense, for his own enjoyment, that his behaviour as a member was not proper. (2nd) That the plaintiff neglected responsibilities to constituents by travelling to Nauru, taken advantage of his position in Parliament on a number of times to accrue frequent flyer points and travel overseas. (3rd) That the plaintiff spent $32,00 of taxpayers money on overseas travel, for his own enjoyment, on numerous occasions, and failed to prevent secret deals at Modbury hospital against his constituents’ and the public’s’ interest, and put the rights of gun owners ahead of family safety, and failed to spend sufficient time in his electorate. … more
